The 2008/2009 Parent Survey for Indicator 8

(Parental Involvement) of the State Performance Plan (SPP)

Parents who have children with disabilities are asked to complete the 2008-09 Parent Survey for Indicator 8 (Parental Involvement) of the State Performance Plan (SPP). This survey will allow you to give your input to the Virginia Department of Education/Special Education and Student Services (VDOE/SESS) and Fairfax County Public Schools about Parental Involvement as a means of improving services and results for children with disabilities.

The survey will be open from

May 11, 2009 until June 30, 2009

The survey will be posted in English and Spanish to allow parents of children with disabilities to provide their input about Parental Involvement.

The survey can be completed online, at your child’s school, the Parent Resource Center, or your local public library. You can request a paper copy by contacting the Parent Resource Center at 703-204-3941.
