The Minority Student Achievement Oversight Committee (MSAOC) has been a School Board advisory committee since 1991. The MSAOC monitors the implementation of FCPS programs, policies, and strategies that affect minority student achievement, provides an assessment and consults with minority parent community to keep them informed of these efforts. MSAOC can have up to 36 members appointed by the School Board, community organizations, and FCPS clusters and departments.
The Committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at the Gatehouse Administrative Center, room 5055, at 7:30 p.m. Parents, community members, and staff members are cordially invited to attend and participate at the Committee's meetings.
