Partnership Agreement

The benefits of an “official” partnership are:

  1. A signed partnership agreement helps protect children because it gives the principal the authority to send volunteers who have regular and frequent contact with children to Gatehouse for fingerprinting and background checks.
  2. An official partner is listed as such in our database – receiving additional communication from our office including invitations to the Celebrate Partnerships Award Ceremony and Common Grounds networking breakfasts.
  3. If nominated for awards, their status as official or unofficial is weighed by judges.
  4. An official partner is more likely to receive positive PR from the Department of Communications and Community Outreach.
  5. An official partner receives discounted community use rates.
  6. FCPS flier distribution regulations are loosened for an official partner.
