About Partnerships

Business and Community Partnerships recruits and supports partners who work with individual schools and the school system and coordinates the donations program.

In FY 2009, the Business and Community Partnerships team helped secure more than a million dollars in donations of money and valued goods through partnerships and direct donations, not including the value of volunteer hours contributed by partners and mentors.

Currently, FCPS has some 350 business and community partnerships. To date, 130 schools, supporting 3,800 students, report having active mentoring programs.
