Announcements

  • A luncheon was recently held to honor our July 2014 Dunn Loring/Merrifield/Tysons Corner Rotary Club Scholarship Winners. Rotary Scholarship winners are Nadin Mendoza Cespedes and My Hao Nguyen.  Additional Rotary Scholarship Winners unable to attend the luncheon are: Yongjae Jang, Warda Mukhtar, and  Minh Khang Phan. All of the scholarship recipients will be pursuing their studies at Northern Virginia Community College.
  • Please congratulate Professor Bruce Miller and his students for their outstanding performance in the national e-Congress project!  While there is still the floor votes portion of the project to go, here is where our students stand presently in the process:

Nationwide, 2812 bills were submitted from 37 states.  Of the 2812 bills submitted, 698 (25%) were approved by committee.  73% of our students' bills were approved by committee!!!

GED transcripts and certificates -

    • Starting January 2, 2014, GED test takers who earned a credential before 2014 can order duplicate copies of transcripts and official Virginia GED certificates online at the GED Credentialing website.
    • If you do not have access to the Internet, you can call the toll free customer service number for assistance (888-906-4031).
