Thomas Jefferson Admissions Test Prep Seminar

For students in grade 8 during the 2009-10 school year aspiring to attend Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, this course offers admissions-test related mathematical and verbal reasoning, essay writing, and study strategies strategies. Other topics include enhancing individual test performance and building confidence. Textbooks and workbooks are provided.

Session I: Begins the week of September 14
Session II: Begins the week of October 26

Participants should have strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills appropriate to viable candidacy for admission.

  • Participation in this course does not constitute application, admission, or acceptance to TJHSST.
  • Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
  • Bring snack for 30 minute break period.
  • Reduced tuition is not available.
  • There are no refunds issued for this course.

All registrations will be accepted on a space-available basis.

A variety of registration options are available; online registration is available to FCPS students. Non-FCPS students have additional registration requirements.
