ACE Advisory Committee

Adult and Community Education Advisory Committee

	History	Established in 1975, the ACE Advisory Committee has been closely involved in the life and evolution of the Office of Adult and Community Education and in the education programs for children, adults, and community through the years. The Committee meets monthly, visits classroom sites, and attends graduations and special events in support of Adult and Community Education programs and students. The ACE Committee members are appointed by the respective magisterial and at-large FCPS School Board members.

	School Board Charge (2008-2009)	Define the effect of the ACE reorganization on student achievement, family literacy, and course offerings that are responsive to consumer demand and workforce needs.

	Meeting Schedule	The ACE Advisory Committee meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month. Below are the meeting dates for 2008-2009. Meetings are held at The Plum Center for Lifelong Learning from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
