Woodson CEDSS Art Gallery

The Woodson CEDSS art studio program is formatted for all Art 1,2 and 3 students.   The Woodson CEDSS Art program is set-up as an open-art studio and is structured around two very important factors- creativity and expression.

The program consists of Fairfax County Art Dept. curriculum along with lots of freedom to twist, tweak and re-invent any creative idea a student may have to further their own personal relationship with their art pieces and promote self-expression.

The focus for the Woodson CEDSS art program is to use the art room to suit a student's own personal needs, to reflect on art works that the student may be working on in a group with peers,  as well as building a strong art portfolio.

The art studio is designed to encourage foundation art techniques through exploration and experimentation with materials and project ideas.  There is always time for students to also explore ideas of their own during open studio free-art working days.

As a result of lots of hard work and creative investment we have a beautiful collection of varied art pieces by students in our online Woodson CEDSS Art Gallery -- '07-'08 or '08-'09 -- have fun browsing,  and remember to check back often, as we are constantly updating our gallery works!
