Sean Layne, Kennedy Center Arts Coach
Woodburn School offers teachers many opportunities for professional development. Our focus on arts integration, and partnership with the the Kennedy Center's CETA Program, provides an opportunity for our teachers to learn from some of the best voices in arts integration.
One such voice is Sean Layne. Sean, an arts coach who works with the Kennedy Center, recently visited Woodburn. Our sixth grade teachers are taking his class Tableau: A Toolbox of Strategies. Sean visited our school recently to showcase some ways teachers can bring the arts into the classroom.
