Your child’s class visits the library at least once a week according to the schedule listed below. After the library lesson, students are given time to locate and check-out library books. Students in kindergarten and grade one can check out one book per week, grade two students can check out two books per week, and grade three through six students can check out three books per week. There is no limit on books needed to complete classroom assignments. Overdue notices are sent home at the end of each quarter. If a student has not returned his/her book(s) on or before the day their class visits the library, the librarian will save a book for a student for one week. The librarian will also place a hold on a book if it is in high demand. Please help your child develop a good routine for returning their library books in a timely manner.
