Registration

General Registration Requirements

For families who are new to the area and live within the Willow Springs boundaries, we look forward to welcoming you to our school. Students are registered throughout the school year and during the summer months by appointment only. Please contact the school office at 703-679-6000 to schedule a registration appointment. For families anticipating a move to our boundaries, we will be happy to schedule a school tour on a Monday afternoon after 2:00 pm. Please call the office to schedule an appointment for a tour. The following documentation is required in order to register a student in Fairfax County Public Schools:

  • Proof of Residency (Deed or Lease Agreement)
  • Birth Certificate (original birth certificate is required for all students)
  • Documentation of previous educational program
  • Health Documentation (a physical examination report completed by a licensed physician and an up-to-date immunization record)

Special Registration Circumstances

Please contact one of our registration sites if any of the following apply to your family before coming to Willow Springs:

  • home language other than English
  • all students whose natural parents or legally adoptive parents do not reside in Fairfax County
  • tuition-paying student
  • exchange student
  • students in foster care

Kindergarten Registration

Children who reach the age of five on or before September 30 of the school year are eligible to attend kindergarten in the fall. A Kindergarten Orientation is held each spring for students who meet the age requirement and live within the boundaries of Willow Springs. Parents will schedule an appointment to register their child during the orientation. Please call the school office at 703-679-6000 to give us information about your child in order to receive information about our orientation.
