Heritage Festival 2010
Mark your calendars! Weyanoke will host its annual Heritage Festival on March 12, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. Students and their families and friends are invited to attend. The Heritage Festival is a celebration of the diverse Weyanoke Community. Students will present cultural dances and songs to international music while wearing their country's native dress. There will also be a food sharing event in the cafeteria. Families are encouraged to bring a cultural dish to share. Join us for this exciting event!

We are in the midst of planning for the Spring Fun Fair on Friday, April 30. This is the biggest PTA event of the year with games, raffles, food, and prizes. We are in need of donations from our community businesses such as Karate lessons, restaurant dinners or other services for our raffle prizes. If you can help, please contact our Fun Fair Committee Chair, Suzanne Mounier at suzannemounier@msn.com. We will need donations by April 12. We also need lots of people to volunteer to help with the games and other activities. Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Holly Koechel at hkk214@gmail.com.
