I feel so lucky to get to come to Westlawn every day and work with fabulous fourth graders and a fantastic team of teachers."


I am originally from central California, but moved to the West Coast for college where I went to the University of California, Santa Barbara. There I earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in education. I taught fourth grade for a year in Santa Barbara before moving to my new home in Virginia. 

I feel so lucky to get to come to Westlawn every day and work with fabulous fourth graders and a fantastic team of teachers. When I’m not at Westlawn, I love exploring Virginia on my bike and trying to cook.
