I am originally from Western Pennsylvania and moved here to Virginia after college to teach at a middle school in Prince George’s County, Maryland. I then taught 6th grade here in Fairfax County.  In 2006, I combined my love of teaching with my love of technology and became a School Based Technology Specialist at Westlawn.

In addition to working with teachers and students, I have many interests to keep me busy.  I often return to Pennsylvania to visit my family and friends, and no matter where I am I always, cheer for the Pittsburgh Steelers!!!  I also enjoy reading, especially if I am lounging on a nice warm beach, surrounded by palm trees!!  I love to travel to new places and learn about others and their way of life.  Because I love to be outdoors I also try to run a few times a week to stay in shape, and to relieve any stress!!
