PSAT Tests

PSAT Test Information

TEST DAY: OCTOBER 14, 2009
Time: 7:20-10:50 a.m.

In order to receive scores, a payment of $17.00 must be made prior to test day. Money will be collected from 9th and 11th graders at Back to School Nights (September 22nd and 30th) or during all lunch periods on October 6th and 7th.

FCPS will pay for all 10th graders PSAT tests to be scored. Exact change or checks will be accepted. Checks can be made payable to Westfield High School.

INFORMATION AND REMINDERS:

1. Students should go to their assigned testing location as soon as they arrive to school.
2. Bring several pencils, erasers, and a calculator (four-function, scientific, or graphing only).
3. If studentsl have not paid for the PSAT test, please bring $17 to the Main Guidance Office as soon as possible. Checks or exact cash only. The check should be made out to Westfield High School.
4. Students should NOT bring any of the following materials to the testing location.

o Scratch Paper
o An unapproved calculator
o Calculators with QWERTY keypads
o Calculators with paper tape
o Calculators that talk or make noise
o Calculators that require an electrical outlet
o Food
o Beverages, including water
o Watches with alarms
o Handheld electronic devices (including cell phones and pagers)
o Protractors
o Compasses
o Rulers
o Dictionaries of any kind (not even bilingual)
o Any other books (they cannot read if they are finished with a section before time is up)
o Pamphlets or papers of any kind
o Highlighters, pens, or colored pencils
o Listening, recording, copying, or photographic devices
o Laptops
