Check Out

Books check out for three weeks. We do not charge fines for overdue books but students with overdue books may not check out anything else until the overdue item is returned. Payment is required for lost or damaged items.

Fire Drills

Leave all books on tables. Listen for directions from librarians and/or teachers. Exit in an orderly manner through the double library doors.

Tornado Drills

Leave all books on tables. Listen for directions from librarians and/or teachers. Exit in an orderly manner through the rear library door to an internal hallway.

Passes

Students must have a pass any time they are out of class. Therefore, they should have a pass to come to the library and must sign-in unless accompanied by a teacher.

Late Bus Days

The library is open after school on late bus days for school work and quiet study. Students must be in the library by 2:30 p.m. After 2:30, a pass from a teacher is required. The library is often open on days that are not late-bus days and on these days, passes are not required. Sign-in is always required.

Copy Machine

Cost: 20 cents per page.

Computers

IPods, etc.

I-pods, etc., are allowed before 7:25 a.m. and after 2:10 p.m. but at NO TIME during the school day.

Access the online databases through Westfield’s web page (click on Library). Passwords for home use are posted on the library’s Blackboard page.

Please do not bring food or drink into the library. Bottled water is allowed.
