Math Information

The purchase of a TI-84 or TI-84+ graphing calculator is a wise investments for math students. If a student purchases one of these calculators, please send in the proof of purchase to the math teacher. Note:The older versions are no longer available in stores, and Ti no longer does software updates for them. They are not able to complete all the functions needed as students move into higher level classes.

Junior/Senior Math Team

Junior Math Team

Junior Math Team contests will be held after school on October 15th, November 12th, December 3rd, January 14th, February 11th, and March 11th, beginning promptly at 2:15.  Students enrolled in Algebra 1, Geometry, Geometry Honors, Algebra 2, or Algebra 2 Honors can participate.  Please contact your current math teacher or junior math team sponsor Mr. Burroughs (bsburroughs@fcps.edu ) if you have any questions.

Senior Math Team

Senior Math Team contests will be held after school on October 3rd, November 14th, December 12th, February 6th, March 6th, and April 10th, beginning promptly at 2:15.  Students enrolled in PreCalculus, PreCalculus Honors, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science, Discrete Math, Probability & Statistics, Multivariable Calculus, or Matrix Algebra can participate.  Please contact your current math teacher or senior math team sponsor Ms. Keeder (jakeeder@fcps.edu ) if you have any questions.
