The
purpose of the Spanish Club is to foster an appreciation
of the Spanish language and culture. Activities include
organizing and donating Thanksgiving baskets to Latino
families in the local community, dining out in latino
restaurants, and future museum visits in the metropolitan
area. Future travel plans include a ten day trip to
Mexico or Spain.

Spanish
Honor Society
The Spanish Honor society is a merit based national
organization open to students who have completed at
least the first semester of Spanish 3. To be eligible,
a student must have maintained at least a 3.5 average
throughout the years of Spanish language study and have
an overall GPA of 3.0. The Society is service oriented.
A senior scholarship is awarded to three deserving members
each year.
