Transcript Information

A minimum of 15 school days is required to process your college transcript request. Important due dates can be seen below.


1.) Submit a completed Transcript Release Form for each college to which you are applying to the Transcript Office along with two First Class Stamps
A transcript packet is mailed from the school and will include:
*An Official Transcript, which lists all final grades through the end of the junior year and senior courses in progress. If you wish to have your First Quarter grades included on the Transcript you must write that on the Transcript Request Form (1st qtr grades available after 11/14/11)
*A College Secondary School Report
* Counselor Recommendation if requested (packet/profile must be submitted to your Counselor in order for a letter of recommendation to be written!)

The first 3 Transcript Requests are free. For every transcript after 3 there is a $5.00 fee. There will be $5.00 LATE FEE for Transcript Requests submitted after the deadline. Payment of a LATE FEE does NOT guarantee mailing by deadline. Transcripts will not be sent until additional fees are paid. First quarter senior year grades are not sent unless specifically requested. They are not available until after November 14,2011. Seven semester grades are sent in early February to all schools applied to.


Transcript Information (Graduates of WHS)

If you are a graduate of the class of 2006 or earlier, your records are no longer available from WHS. You will need to contact FCPS Records Management at 703-329-7741

Official Transcripts are available from Student Services at a cost of $5.00 per request. Our offices are open between 7:00am and 3:00pm on school days. You may also choose to request a transcript by mail. Please send a letter with your full name, date of graduation, the address where the transcript is to be mailed, your signature and $5.00 per request (check or money order). Our mailing address is:
