Winner of the 2013 Governor's Award for Academic Excellence!
The 2012-2013 school year began with our recommitment to friendship, scholarship and leadership as our mantra. We have many new teachers and learners this year. The WSES Professional Learning Community continues to focus on learning for every child, every day and utilizing formative assessment, data driven dialogue and citizenry to make educated decisions for our Community of Caring.
Construction on our building’s addition, paid for by the FCPS 2008 Bond Referendum, has been completed and we are excited to be occupying our new space!
