Community of Caring includes staff training, integration of values into all phases of school life, student forums, parental involvement, and service learning. The goal of the program is to teach and model these values in school and in the home.

The Community of Caring is a grant from the Arlington Health Foundation, a philanthropic organization whose mission is to establish, promote, and support programs to improve the health and well-being of the people of Arlington and surrounding Northern Virginia communities.
Community of Caring, a project of the Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation, is a comprehensive character education program that teaches the five core values of:
