What is a mentor?
- A mentor is someone who advises or guides someone in need of assistance.
How do I get a mentor?
- Ask a teacher
- Ask a guidance counselor

How do I become a mentor?
Can member of the community be a mentor?
- This is a component of the mentoring program to will be initiated next year. We welcome any suggestions from members of the community.
How were students chosen to be mentored?
- Guidance counselors recommended students based on no particular criteria to receive services. We hope to expand the program next year to include more students.
How many students are currently being mentored?

Will the mentoring program continue next year?
- Yes, the mentoring program will continue throughout next year with hopeful expansions.
Can I keep the same mentor until I graduate?
- Certainly, as long as the mentor continues to work here at West Potomac and is willing to participate in the program
