	Terrill Anderson Instructional Assistant He is a former Center Supervisor with the School-Age Childcare Program (SACC). He has an Associates degree in Early Childcare Education. In his spare time he likes to read and play sports.

	Gloria Bloyer Instructional Assistant Born in Western PA - Husband, John 2 children.....Darci (24) and Casey (22) both Waynewood alumni. A Congressional Secretary for 14 years in the U.S. House of Representatives St. Aidan's Episcopal Day School IA for 7 years. In my 12 year at Waynewood ES as an IA, K, K-1, & K-1-2
	Rae Burke Instructional Assistant Mrs. Burke has been at Waynewood since 1999, at many different grade levels. Born in Ohio, she has lived in Germany and several states in the US over the years. She has two children in college: Erin, born 4/89; and Neil, born 1/91, both Waynewood and West Potomac High School alumni. Her hobbies include walking, needlework, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to a wonderful school year.
	Lys Busch Instructional Assistant An Alexandria native, Graduated Groveton High School in 1981, Attended both Radford University and the Washington School for Secretaries. Worked in a Preschool setting for the past 9 years. Married Bob Busch in 1991. Daughter, Sarah, attends Mount Vernon High School. Lys spends most her free time going to daughter’sl sporting events (field hockey, swimming and softball), swimming being the family favorite! The Busch family are avid CAPS fans! Lys LOVES working with Kindergartners, it really is my dream job!
	Liza Gheesling Instructional Assistant B. A. Virginia Tech Ms. Gheesling enjoys reading, walking, yoga, and cheering on her two sons, Alexander and Miles, with the help of her husband, Joel.
	Lee Grant Instructional Assistant B.A. University of North Carolina/MS in Library Science, UNC Lee has worked as a Special Education instructional assistant at Waynewood for the past 14 years. She lives in the Collingwood subdivision with her husband, a bulldog, a small parrot, and several ferrets. She enjoys reading, digital photography, and genealogy.

	Rodney Murry Instructional Assistant Mr. Murry has been an instructional assistant at Waynewood since 2001.
	Lara O'Connor Instructional Assistant Yorktown High School graduate B.A., Art History, George Mason University Mrs. O’Connor was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up in Arlington, VA. She is married with three children and a crazy dog. She worked for 3 years at a preschool before coming to Waynewood ES in 2009. A wide variety of interests include: painting large abstract paintings in her art studio, visiting museums with her family, listening to music, studying art, coaching soccer, watching her sons play baseball, listening to her daughter play piano, and thinking outside the box. Mrs. O’Connor enjoys spending time with good friends and colleagues, and enjoys helping kids reach their potential.
	Peggy Ruckenbrod Instructional Assistant
	Diane Schaum Instructional Assistant BS,MA Early Childhood ED, Towson State University Mrs.Shaum's interests have always revolved around her children and their activities which include traveling, going to restaurants, and Cross County for West Potomac.
	Jill Snow Instructional Assistant Mrs. Snow is a longtime resident of the Waynewood Community and has had three children go through Waynewood Elementary School. She joined the Waynewood Staff in Fall 2009.
