Rae Burke
Mrs. Burke has been at Waynewood since 1999, at many different grade levels.
Born in Ohio, she has lived in Germany and several states in the US over the years. She has two children in college: Erin, born 4/89; and Neil, born 1/91, both Waynewood and West Potomac High School alumni. 
Her hobbies include walking, needlework, cooking and spending time with family and friends.  She looks forward to a wonderful school year.

Mrs. DiGravio has been at Waynewwod since 1999.
Graduate:  Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School, New York, NY
Undergraduate Degree (Business Administration):  New York Institute of Technology, Westbury, NY
Married – husband John. Daughter, born 1975 and married 2004. Son, born 1987 and single.
Hobbies/Interests:  Longaberger baskets consultant, scrapbooking

Lee Grant

B.A. University of North Carolina/MS in Library Science, UNC
Lee has worked as a Special Education instructional assistant at Waynewood for the past 14 years. She lives in the Collingwood subdivision with her husband, a bulldog, a small parrot, and several ferrets. She enjoys reading, digital photography, and genealogy.

Mr. Murry has been an instructional assistant at Waynewood since 2001.

B.A., Art History, George Mason University

Mrs. O’Connor was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up in Arlington, VA. She is married with three children and a crazy dog. She worked for 3 years at a preschool before coming to Waynewood ES in 2009. A wide variety of interests include:  painting large abstract paintings in her art studio, visiting museums with her family, listening to music, studying art, coaching soccer, watching her sons play baseball, listening to her daughter play piano, and thinking outside the box. Mrs. O’Connor enjoys spending time with good friends and colleagues, and enjoys helping kids reach their potential.

Mrs.Shaum's interests have always revolved around her children and their activities which include traveling, going to restaurants, and Cross County for West Potomac.

Terrill Anderson

He is a former Center Supervisor with the School-Age Childcare Program (SACC). He has an Associates degree in Early Childcare Education. In his
spare time he likes to read and play sports.

Phyllis Boggs

Mrs. Boggs has been a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant at Waynewood since 2006. She resides in the Mount Vernon area with her husband, Jeff, and three children:  Steven, born 4/86; Jeff, born 9/95; and Clara, born 2/98.

Pei Wang

A.B., Vassar College
M.A., Middlebury College
J.D., Georgetown University, 1990
Admitted to the Bar in NY and DC.
M.S., Elementary Education anticipated 2009 or 2010.

Prior to joining the Waynewood staff, Ms. Wang worked as a court-appointed special advocate for the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Alexandria. She also was a host parent for three consecutive summers, with the Christ Church Children of Chernobyl program. During her college summers, Ms. Wang taught English at the Taipei Language Institute in Taiwan. She lived for a year in Paris to study French.

Mrs. Snow is a longtime resident of the Waynewood Community and has had three children go through Waynewood Elementary School. She joined the Waynewood Staff in Fall 2009.
