At Waples Mill , we benefit from a strong partnership with parents. Family socials, student presentations, and volunteer opportunities allow parents to meet their children’s classmates and neighbors, as well as, a chance to contribute to our school community. Our active PTA provides many extras, including assemblies and field trips, support for instructional technology and the student conservation science program. To volunteer in the school or become involved in the PTA, register and log on to the PTA's website: www.wmespta.org.
The Waples Mill PTA developed their own web site this year in an effort to go "paperless." Instead of receiving numerous hard copies each week in your child's Tuesday folder, information about PTA events and programs will be available for registered users to see on this website. You may also sign up for the weekly “Tuesday e-mail” – a brief summary of current PTA and other information of interest for parents.
