The Medieval Times

By; Matt C.

There once lived some men named Sir Crawford, Sir Robert, and Sir Valhala. They now are going through their mid life cries. We’ll start off with Crawford. He has killed another city’s army at night, and their king sent a person to kill him. The evil king thought that if Sir Crawford went at night, so he could too. When the murderer gets there, he discovers Sir Crawford is still awake. Since he is still awake, he takes   his wife as a prisoner. Sir Valhala angers the same king by destroying the village so he sends the man to put him in jail. Sir Valhala is still awake so he takes his daughter prisoner. Sir Robert won the last three battles he has fought and the evil king thought to make him sad too. And the same man kidnaps Sir Robert’s wife.

The kidnapper/ murderer and Sir Robert face. Sir Robert said,” If you win, you can keep my wife.” The man said,” If you win, you can get your wife, Crawford’s wife, and Valhala’s daughter.” You can also take me prisoner. They took the man. Little did the man know he was about to get taken prisoner by Sir Robert.

Sir Robert thinks up three challenges that are hard for even him. On the first, they use a catapult to try to get a rock in a hole. None succeed on the battlefield.

Next challenge was in the forest, where they had to throw a spear through three trees in a row. It was a tie. On the third and final challenge, at the castle, they had to throw their spears through the wall… Yes! Sir Robert has one! They knew Sir  Robert could do it! They have the knights arrest the bad man. Sir Robert and Sir Crawford got their wives back, and Sir Valhala got his daughter back.

Everybody, (except for the man,) lived happily ever after.
