The Three Children

By Nick

Once upon a time there were three children who lived and played together. Adam a ten-year-old nice smart, tall kid lived in a city called Matta. This city lay in plain grassy land. Adam loved to play in this land that was big and breezy. The other kids, Mathew, Scott, and Jack teased him because of the way he ran, looked, and dressed. Adam was a fast runner, but he ran funny because he had a diseased leg that will be infected for the rest of his life. Adam had no mom or dad: they had both died from a plague. Adam spent most of his days in the grassy land, but the teasing made him want to leave and go into the city so he would not be teased. Now, Adam would live alone as a kid on the city streets.

Arthur, a ten-year-old sad kid, was the wealthiest out of the three children. He lived in a castle, which was in the center of the city, with his dad King Mathew. Arthur asked one day “ Can thou go outside of the castle to have friend and have fun instead of being inside the castle being bored.”                                                         “No! Yelled his dad, thou have plans with ye all the time!”

Arthur got mad and got some clothes and stole some of his dad’s money and went to the city to live there. Arthur was walking down a street that had been known for the robbers that lived there. He heard footsteps behind him and when he turned to look there was nobody. This time he peeked back and all of a sudden a kid jumps on him and takes Arthur dad’s money that he had stole. Luckily, Arthur was strong and got a hold of Adam. He pushed Adam to the wall and screamed, "Why did thou do that!”                                                                         Adam whispered terrified, “I needth that money.” He pointed directly at a tent that lay on the street. Arthur felt bad and gave Adam a couple of coins. Arthur realized that he was alone and had no place to stay. So he asked Adam If he could live with him. “Can I live with thou?” Arthur asked.                                                                                                       “Sure!” Adam screamed joyfully. He had no friends so he was happy that he would have somebody to play with. Arthur made friends with Adam.

The Last kid is Christopher a ten-year-old nice small kid. He loved to play in the forest where he got all dirty; His shirt was white and always went to brown mud. His Mom, Katherine, and his Dad, Robert, got mad at him for being dirty all the time, so Christopher’s mom declared, “Thou aren’t aloud to playth there anymore!"

While walking in the streets, Christopher bumped into two kids. They all said sorry but they heard a loud scream that frighten them. They looked back and saw an aged man that was trying to rob the kids. Christopher and Arthur sprinted across the street picking up Adam because of his diseased leg, they said thanks and Christopher made friends with Adam and Arthur. The three kids helped each other survive. Christopher brought left over food from his dinner each night. Christopher got scolded for doing that, Arthur spent his dad’s money on clothes that Adam and him needed, and Adam developed a new skill, he had learned how to make leather shoes that he could sell. Each of them became very, very good friends.

Christopher’s Mom died from being ill and his dad came to his house drunk each night from a bar. He woke up Christopher and whipped him for no reason it was then that Christopher decided to run away and be with his friends.

In the city of Matta were Christopher Adam and Arthur lived a huge plague broke out. This plague nearly killed half o f the population of city of Matta. Adam, Arthur, and Christopher were the only ones to survive along with two other men named Patrick and Philip. The plague broke out into three different cities. The boys traveled from city to city helping those who were sick. The boys became famous healers.                                                     When the plague was vanished the boys came back in three full wagons with plague survivors. The entire city of Matta praised the boys.
