The Fall of The Spartans

By David Kiviat

Once upon a time there were four brave noble men, Sir Pancealot a great warrior, Sir Brythopeon, a great and smart general, King Robert the most generous king ever, and Sir Brian a strong knight.

One day King Robert got a letter from Sir Brythopeon that they needed more knights in the battle for Athens.  So King Robert sent some Athenian warriors and Sir Brian to help.  When Sir Brian got there, he let the Spartan capture him because he was a spy and needed to give Sparta some information about Athens.  When he got to Sparta he told all the generals about Athens information about the war and their strategies.  Then he remembered that Athens was going to raid Sparta’s castle so Sir Brian went to tell the guards to sound the horn, but it was too late.  The Athenian warriors killed all the guards and the horn was crushed.

Sir Brain ran to his room and set the trap door open.  The trap door was set if that if a man tried to step seven feet from his room the floor would crack and he would fall in a ten foot pit full  of lions.

When King Robert heard that Sir Brian was captured he sent Sir Pancealot to get him back.  Sir Brian sent out one hundred dragons to kill all but then Athenian warrior’s threw their spears in the air and killed all but one dragon.  The dragon came straight for Sir Pancealot.

Quickly Sir Pancealot stabbed the dragon on the neck and jumped away.  But the dragon came back for him.  Sir Pancealot jumped on the dragon’s back and grabbed the sword out of the dragon’s neck.  He cut off of the dragon’s wings and the dragon fell to the ground in pain.  Sir Pancealot cut off all the dragon’s fangs and claws to use as throwing knives.  He called his horse and ran inside the castle.  Sir Brian was right in front of Sir Pancealot.  When he saw Sir Brian with a Sparta shield he was furious!  Sir Brian laughed and said, “You fool I would never work as a general for you. I am smarter and stronger”

“We trusted you!  You will die in vain.  I am taking you out!

Sir Pancealot started to throw all the fangs and claws at Sir Brian with all his might.  But claw after claw Sir Brian kept dodging them When Sir Pancealot had no fangs/claws left he charged.  Sir Brian lunged but missed.  Sir Pancealot stabbed Sir Brian in his shoulder.  Sir Brian fell to the ground in pain.  He got back up and saw that Sir Pancealot was charging again so he dived out of the way and cut Sir Pancealot on the hip.  Both very tired and in pain they dropped to the ground.  A horse came, it was Sir Brythorpeon! He dragged Sir Pancealot onto his horse.  Sir Brythorpeon said, “Sir Brian you lied to us.  We trusted you.  Now your time is up.  You will never go to heaven.”
