Introduction

Do you want to be a seismologist?  Well here's your chance!  You tune in on your local news station, and you here there is a huge earthquake coming to your city.  You have to find a way to keep your family safe.  In order to do that you have to learn about earthquakes.

What is an earthquake?

What causes an earthquake?

What tools are used to measure an earthquake?

How strong was the strongest earthquake ever recorded?

How long does the average earthquake last?

What are plate boundaries?

 

The Process

1. Get with a friend to be in a  group.
