The Brave Ones

  Once upon a time there were three best friends. One was Elisabeth, she always cared about her looks and carried a mirror every where she goes. Alyson a very bright girl is smart. She was the type of girl who always reads. She has straight long brown hair with black glasses. Jack always helps his dad with crops. He has a skinny body and has blond hair with blue eyes. One day while Jack was carrying corn to the wagon, his dad was going to tell him something but all a sudden everything froze like that. Jack was scared but someone with a black cape from the sky came and told him that if he wants to save his family and return everything back to normal then he must press this button. So Jack did. He found himself in a forest, he called out but no one answered. He found Alyson lying on the grass. He tried to wake her up but it didn't work.

   Near by was a little pond. Jack took some water that you could see yourself in. He put some on Alyson. "Where am I," she said.

  "I don't know," Jack replied. A girl down by an old fat tree came running. It was Elisabeth.

  "All three of them went walking to find a way out. They saw a

  Castle in front of them. 

  Uh-oh,” Elisabeth said.” It’s starting to rain." My hair will get messed up and my dress will get soaked.

"Let’s go inside the castle," Jack said.

  "No way, the castle might be haunted." Besides we don't even know where we are

Well," said Alyson," maybe there's something inside the castle that will get us out of here

"Wait," said Jack, "the guy with the cape said to press the button to save your family. So maybe there's a button the castle that will get us out of here." When they got to the castle, the door opened by itself. They heard someone up stairs.

 It sounded like they were stuck. So they went up stairs. "How would we know which door it is?"

  "The door with the door knob moving," said Alyson." When they opened the door, they were shocked. It was their parents

  So they all went down stairs frightened. They kept on going straight until they came to a big door with letters on it. "Look," said Alyson, the picture of the dragon on the wall is the same picture on the guy’s cape. But on the guy's cape it said CA. Maybe those are the letters to open the door. So they pressed the buttons c and a.

  The door opened slowly. They all went in behind Jack. There were sticks with fire hanging on the wall. Jack took one stick with him and followed the path. It led them to a huge room with sculptures of dragons. "Be careful," Jack said." Watch were your stepping, there might be a trap. "Look, there's a button just like the one the guy told us to press." They all went running to the button on the wall. Elisabeth pressed the button. Suddenly s the ground started to shake. A big huge blue door opened. Out came a gigantic dark blue dragon. Elisabeth let out a big scream

  "Shhh," Alyson said. The dragon started to head toward them with anger. He broke every wall in one hit. Jack threw his stick with fire at the dragon but he missed. The dragon let out a great big roar that the ground started to shake.

  "Alyson and Elisabeth you distract the dragon and parents. You stand over there.” Alyson and Elisabeth started to distract the dragon. Jack went to get another fire stick. He went behind the dragon and threw the fire stick at him

” We did it. We defeated the dragon!” Sun light came from the door that the dragon came from. They all went rushing to the door and stepped inside of it.

"We’re back home and everything is back to normal."

 "We are all proud of you,” exclaimed the children’s parents. So Elisabeth, Alyson, and Jack went home to write what happened and from this day and on they will never ever forget this day!
