The National Merit Scholarship Corporation
runs a merit scholarship program for talented African-American
students. These
students ranked high on the 2006 PSAT/NMSQT Test. Recognition
as a National Achievement Finalist means being one of the
top African-American students in the
nation who can compete for scholarships within the program,
and scholars have been recognized with scholarships. Other
students with outstanding scores are also recognized. We
