New: CALLING ALL VRE PARENTS!

The 2007-2008 school year is coming to an end but the PTA is busy planning for next year. Virginia Run offers many beneficial programs for our children that are in need of parent volunteers. Many people have already come forward to chair some of these programs to ensure that they continue. For that, our school and our children, thank you for offering your time, talents and efforts to make VRE the wonderful school that it is. There are still many programs that are in need of chair people. Below is the list of PTA Board positions, programs, chairs and open positions. If you are interested/able in chairing any of these programs, please contact Lynn Heick at lynnheick@gmail.com or Mary Setash at msetash@aol.com.

The Virginia Run PTA is a member of the local, state, and national Parent Teacher Associations. The goals of the PTA are to encourage involvement of the community with the school, its students, teachers and administrators and serve as a network of communication between parents and school personnel.
