| The mission of Virginia Run Elementary School is to offer a comprehensive instructional program as outlined in the Program of Studies, to maintain the highest possible levels of academic achievement for all students, and to have students continue to develop higher level thinking skills across the curriculum. The staff is committed to using best practices to accomplish the Ten Strategic Targets of the Fairfax County Public Schools and to maintain Virginia State Accreditation. Virginia Run Elementary students, staff, and parents work together to provide a place of active and positive learning by demonstrating respect and accepting responsibility for themselves, others, and the school environment. |
