Juanita Baptiste is the parent liaison at Timber Lane. She serves as a communications link between the school and Spanish speaking parents. Here are some of the many things Juanita helps with at Timber Lane.

* Arranges and translates parent-teacher conferences

* Translates during school activities, such as coffee nights with our principal, Family Soccer Night, Back-to-School Night, and Family Literacy Night.

* Shares information about the resources available from our community, such as health insurance, food, clothing, shelters, family therapy, English classes, computer classes, Head Start, and SACC.

* Helps parents solve problems that affect their child's education.

* Helps parents complete school forms for lunch, summer school, intersession, and SACC.

Juanita's goal is to give the very best of herself, so every parent who comes to her clearly understands Timber Lane procedures. She is committed to meeting the needs of Timber Lane's Spanish speaking families.
