See Terraset's Mock Election in this week's Reston Connection newspaper.
On Tuesday, October 28 and Wednesday, October 29, students at Terraset cast their vote for the next President of the United States. Students had to check in, were escorted to a voting booth where they voted using the SENTEO active response system, and were given an "I VOTED!" sticker. Mr. Bland and Ms. Damon's sixth grade students acted as voting officials assisting the younger students with the voting process.
Todd from Ms. Damon's sixth grade class said, "It was interesting because I got to work with the kindergarteners. I learned that the Democratic Party comes first on the ballot."
