Today, I got an opportunity to vote and it was pretty cool. I kept feeling like someone was going to copy me, so I covered the remote and pressed the button. I think this was a great opportunity for me to get used to being in a poll and getting to vote. I think this was also a good opportunity for me because this would get me ready for when I get older and really vote.

I’m going to tell you who I voted for and why. I voted for Barack Obama because he would make history because he’s black, and because he wants the war to stop, and some other reasons.

The big idea why I want Barack Obama to be our president is because he wants kids to have a good education. Another reason why is, he wants to stop the war to help our country.

Here are some reasons why I don’t want John McCain to be our president. I don’t want him to be our president because, he wants the war to continue, and because he didn’t say anything about our education, that I know of.

Now I’m going to start talking about me voting again. It was kind of fun voting because it made me feel older and more mature. I might write more about this opportunity again, so stay tuned for more.

smileyToday I got the chance to vote. It was very exiting because I have never voted before. I voted for the person I did because I like the views of their political party. I agree with his views on the war in Iraq. I also like their idea on the oil crisis, and their idea of off shore drilling so gas prices will go down while we are looking for an alternate fuel source. I still think the other man is a nice guy but on politics I have a different opinion. If you are wondering who I voted for, it's John McCain.

Today I got the opportunity to vote and it was a pretty cool process. We got to go to a voting booth and while a sixth grader gave us directions, we got to read a little about each candidate. It was almost like the real thing!

Now even before I read, I knew from listening and watching the debates that I wanted to vote for Barack Obama. So I pressed the correct letter to vote for him and was done. But my reason for picking him was simple. I think he’s a better public speaker than McCain, and has much better ideas too.

For example, because of Bush and McCain our economy has gone down, although were winning in Iraq, were loosing in Afghanistan. Obama will not only even both wars out but he will send troops home, and end the wars.

Another reason is that unlike McCain, he cares about other important things like education, health care, and the environment as well as the war. All McCain cares about is the war. I just think Obama would be a better overall president instead of John McCain.

So in conclusion, I do hope Obama wins in the end. I definitely want to become a democrat like him when I grow up! Obama All The Way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
