Advanced Academic Programs Information
A parent information meeting will be held at Sunrise Valley Elementary School on October 27th at 10:30-11:00 a.m. in the Conference Room. The Advanced Academic Resource Teacher will provide information about levels of service and examples at Sunrise Valley Elementary as well as explain and answer questions about the screening processes for part-time school based and Level IV services. The meeting is open to all K-6 parents. All materials being presented can be found on the AAP website at http://www.fcps.edu/DIS/aap/. If you are unable to attend, the Advanced Academic Resource Teacher is always happy to address questions or concerns through email or over the phone. AAP Level IV Referral forms for students new to FCPS are due by October 28, 2011 and for all other students are due to local schools by February 3, 2012. Forms can be filled out by parents/guardians only and must be turned into the front office by these deadlines. Please place forms in an envelope addressed to Mrs. Ebel (AAP Resource Specialist).
