Ms. Kelley sends emails to students regarding scholarship/financial aid information on a weekly basis - please make sure your emails are up-to-date as you will miss out on important information. Scholarship/Financial Aid information is also kept in The Career Center. Below are just some available information but not all.

SCHOLARSHIP/FINANCIAL AID SEARCHES

Be wary of Online Scholarship searches. Never pay for an account or for a scholarship search. But also be cautious of free sites. Here are some valid sites:

LOCAL COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

  • JEB Stuart Educational Foundation Scholarships - The J.E.B. Stuart Educational Foundation Section 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation has been helping the graduates of J.E.B. Stuart achieve their educational goals since 2005. Every spring, seniors interested in continuing their education, whether college-bound or vocational, are encouraged to apply. Scholarships have been awarded in honor of inspiring teachers and recently some have been funded by The Analysis Corporation (one of J.E.B. Stuart's business partners).   • Thurgood Marshall Scholarships - Each year, the Lake Barcroft Community awards scholarships up to $3,000 to deserving Stuart graduates. These scholarships are given in honor of the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, who was a long-term resident of Lake Barcroft. For information regarding the scholarship, please click here.
  • PTSA Scholarships - The J.E.B. Stuart PTSA funds at least two merit-based scholarships each year.
    • The IB Scholarship is awarded to an IB Diploma Candidate who is selected by the IB Teachers
    • The Total Student Award is voted on by the entire Stuart faculty and is awarded to a student who exemplifies the spirit of achievement of J.E.B. Stuart High School
