Various colleges in the United States and the World accept the IB Diploma; however, each college has different requirements in terms what will receive college credit, advance standing, special programs, and scholarships.

• IB Exams Scores
  • IB exam scores are sent electronically to colleges by the International Baccalaureate North America (IBNA).
  • IB Diploma Candidates must complete a "IB transcript request" and return to the IB Coordinator
  • After July 1st, if IB Diploma Candidates did not complete the "IB transcript request" prior to July 1st, the IB Diploma Candidate must complete the "IB Transcript Request" - This is a fillable PDF document - content will not be saved once document is closed from browser. Follow instructions in document on how to complete and mail.
    • There is no cost for the first set of transcripts, after that there is a US$13 fee for each set of transcripts

  • In 2003, the IB Organization conducted a student survey of IB Diploma Candidates that looked at test performance, acceptance rates of IB Diploma Candidates into US Colleges and Universities, comparison of test results from IB Exams and AP Exams, and recognition of IB Diploma Candidates with national scholarships.
