Civic's Seal for Excellence

Seniors who have at least a B average in both US History/HOA and Govenrment/ 20th Century Topics classes and who have completed at least 50 hours of community service are eligible to apply for the Diploma Seal for Excellence in Civics Education. Applications will be managed through the 12th grade social studies classes starting in January, 2011.

I AM A SENIOR AT JEB STUART HIGH SCHOOL...

To request a transcript for colleges and scholarships -

Your Parent/Guardian must authorize JEB Stuart High School to release your transcript to colleges and scholarships. Please complete the Transcript Release Authorization Form. You only need to fill out this form once.

Fill out the Senior Transcript Request form - You get the first Three (3) transcripts free, then there is a $5.00 fee for every transcript thereafter. YOU MUST PAY FOR EACH TRANSCRIPT IN ADVANCE - OTHERWISE YOUR TRANSCRIPT WILL NOT BE MAILED TO COLLEGES.

If you need to have your transcript mailed immediately (i.e. your application is approaching the deadline), you must provide us with a PRE-STAMPED, ADDRESSED TO COLLEGE ENVELOPE. Otherwise, please allow 3-5 days for mail processing.

Print the Transcript Request form once you have completed the appropriate boxes.

Bring the Transcript Request form and your senior packet to Ms. Kristen West, Transcript Secretary. The transcript release form and the student information part must be completed before you turn in the packet. Please turn the packet in one month before the application due date..

I GRADUATED FROM JEB STUART HIGH SCHOOL MORE THAN FIVE YEARS AGO...

If you graduated from JEB Stuart High School more than five years ago, your transcript is held at the FCPS Records Center.

You may mail in your transcript request using the FCPS Transcript Form and mail to: FCPS - Records Center, ATTN: Registrar, 3701 Franconia Rd, Alexandria, VA 22310

You mail walk-in with your request at the FCPS - Records Center. Their hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm

Each transcript request is $5.00. Cash, Checks and Money Orders are accepted - please make Checks/MOs made payable to FCPS. Credit cards are not accepted.

The Power of One Character Award

"The Power of One Character Award will serve to recognize students and teachers for their outstanding character displayed towards others, our school, and our community. Awardees will get a Certificate, a magnet, and be entered into a monthly drawing to win gift certificates to stores and restaurants such as Best Buy, Panera and Starbucks. Please return any nomination forms to Ms. Delaney (D65) or Ms. Wunder (M255) The Power of One is a tangible reminder of the exceptional students and staff that we have here at JEB Stuart."
