J.E.B. Stuart High School’s School Counseling Program Mission Statement

J.E.B. Stuart High School’s School Counseling Programs provide academic, career, and personal/social counseling to all students regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status. By utilizing data collection, analysis, and evaluation in all programs, Professional School Counselors are agents of systemic change in delivery of services. Through collaboration, leadership and advocacy, professional school counselors at J.E.B. Stuart High School design and facilitate programs that increase student achievement, prepare students to become life-long learners, promote responsibility to community, and empower students to develop their unique talents and maximize their individual capabilities.
