There is currently one parent liaison based in Stuart High School. Parent liaisons are available to work with all families on a variety of issues. To assist with families who speak other languages, Mrs. Marcia Donovan is fluent in Spanish.
The parent liaison role in school is to facilitate communication between the school and parents. They have knowledge of school procedures and programs that enable them to help parents connect with the appropriate people within the school and community who can help you meet your child’s needs. Parent Liaisons work closely with the school’s counselors, clinic staff, administrators, teachers and other school personnel to help the students and their families.

The Fairfax County Public Schools Parent Resource Center promotes parent awareness of the services provided by the Fairfax County Public Schools for children with special needs and their families. The Center encourages parent participation in the educational decision-making process and provides seminars, training programs, and information to foster the parent/professional partnership. The Center also serves as a resource for educators and the community.
