This site is the premier online scholarship search site and should be your first stop after submitting college applications and the FAFSA form. You need to register and have an email address to really take advantage of this service. Over 1,000,000 scholarships are in this database.

Fairfax County’s database of scholarships also provides an index for a lot of financial aid information. Click on “Scholarships Currently Available” to see scholarships with upcoming deadlines. You can download the application right from the web site.

Financial Aid

U.S. Department of Education's FAFSA on the Web

Families may use this site to complete and submit the FAFSA Free Application for Federal Student Aid directly over the internet. When you apply online, your information is processed within 2 weeks, but submissions by mail could take 4 to 6 weeks. Since you will need a PIN number and the processing for it takes about 2 weeks, apply for it early.
