Thank you for visiting the Stone Middle School PTA (Parent & Teacher Association) website! The 2011-12 PTA Board is working to create an interactive website where you can find information to help you stay informed, inspired and involved with your child's education at Stone as well as think about their future transitions.
We look forward to meeting you at one of the many events throughout the year. You may have heard this before, but it's important to remind everyone that many of the upcoming programs which benefit your child(ren) are made possible by PTA funding and volunteers. The quality of these programs are only as good as the number of volunteers and diversity present with great ideas and enthusiasm! Please help us represent your child(ren's) needs and interests by participating on some level. If you haven't volunteered before, it's never too late nor is there any reason we can't find something that fits your busy schedule.
Our motto is to encourage you to "Lead by Example". As Board members, we realize that by taking upon these roles, it will hopefully demonstrate to our children the value of volunteering, even when it may involve some sacrifices. At the end of the day, we all do this to benefit the Stone Middle School community. Our top goal is to think of ourselves as one large family at Stone and if we can accomplish this, then this will be a wonderful year full of extraordinary memories for our kids and staff!
Please look for our PTA Volunteer Sign-up form as well as Membership/Directory form. We can't stress enough how important it is for each and every family to join the PTA and donate to the Panther Payroll if you are able. The school and PTA work hard not to overwhelm our families with one fundraiser after another. We are very fortunate that our Stone Staff are actively involved year-round in coordinating and supporting our PTA activities.
