Student Ambassador Program

All new students will be assigned a student ambassador from their homeroom. There are two student ambassadors for each classroom, one boy and one girl. These students have demonstrated positive character traits and actively seek to include other students.

Our student ambassadors are trained to welcome new students, sit with the new student at lunch, play with the new student at recess, introduce the new student to staff members, help the new student negotiate the building and academic programs, and otherwise facilitate the inclusion of the new student. The school counselor and the student ambassador will have a special welcome lunch for the new student shortly after arrival.
