The Spring Hill Parent Resource Library is a special collection of books, magazines, tapes and videos on topics of interest to parents of school-age children. The main themes in all of the materials relate to character-building, as descrbed in the six building blocks of character and Project: Build a Better You! The materials have been collected over several years through donations, PTO appropriations, and Counselors department funding. (Note: We have not read/viewed/listened to all resources and do not specifically endorse any them; Feedback is welcome!.)
Where is the Parent Resource Library?
The Parent Resource Library is located within the school's regular Library/Media Center, just inside the front entrance of the school. The resource library is set up behind the library's checkout desk.
When is it open?
Hours of operation are the same hours the school's main library is open.
Who can use it?
The Resource Library is open to all Spring Hill families. Please feel free to stop in any time to browse or check out materials.
How do I check out materials?
1) Come into the library and select your books, etc. Each book or video has a library lending card (on the inside front cover of books or on back cover of audio/video tapes). Fill out the card with your name and date checked out
2) Put the completed card in the library's black card file box.
3) You may use the materials for up to three (3) weeks.
4) Return your books to the school and replace the card from the library file box back into the book.
5) If you need extended time (more than 3 weeks) with your materials, please contact the school counselors.
For more information about the Parent Resource Library, to donate materials or get involved, please contact the school counselors Judy Trigiani or Dona Sasala.
