Student Government Association

SGA LogoThe Student Government is a group of students that form a committee that represents the students' class as a whole. This committee heads fundraisers, important decisions, planning activities and acting as representatives for their student body and South Lakes High School.

Why join?
The Student Government Association (SGA) is a great opportunity to become part of something important in your four years at South Lakes. Become one of the five officers. Choose to run for either President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.

Benefits
Voice your opinion in the school programs, class and school schedules and many other important sections of daily life at SLHS. Gain an influence throughout your peers and gain skills for your future experience in business and communication. Obtain inside knowledge of the way school government works and receive privileges and opportunities. Becoming an active member of the SGA also looks extremely well on your college resume.
