Biographical Information:
Ms. Wittenschlaeger has had the wonderful experience of living on both the East and West Coast states, and has traveled extensively throughout the world. Her roots are in Northern Virginia where she graduated from Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, Virginia. She also recently graduated from Marymount University with a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in School Counseling. In recognition of her scholastic and professional excellence, she was inducted in both the PSI CHI, The National Honor Society in Psychology and CHI SIGMA IOTA, Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International. She has a love for athletics, and holds a Personal Training Certification through AFAA. She is a believer in the concept that both the mind and the body work together, so both need to be challenged and exercised. She is an avid runner and enjoys bicycle riding with her two college age sons. She states, “I enjoy my work as a School Counselor at SLHS, especially helping students rise to the utmost of their ambitions and talents. My office door is always open to students and parents. My goal is to make all visits productive in advancing all students quest for excellence and success in school and in life.”
