Kindergarten
  • One (1) box of 24 crayons
  • One (1) plastic rectangular school box
  • One (1) 4 oz. bottle washable white school glue
  • Twelve (12) .24oz glue sticks
  • Two (2) #2 pencils
  • Two (2) large rectangular pink erasers
  • Large backpack (large enough to hold a two pocket folder and a library book)
  • One (1) eight pack thick washable markers
  • Two (2) 8 ounce bottles of instant Hand Sanitizer
  • 1 container of disinfectant wipes (example: Clorox or Lysol)
  • One (1) box tissues
  • One package children's stickers (for class use)

First Grade

  • Crayola crayons (box of no more than 24)
  • One (1) Elmer's white washable school glue (4 oz. black and red label)
  • Large washable classic color markers (set of 8 -these will be collected to share in our classroom publishing center.)
  • School box (plastic box that will close)
  • #2 pencils (20 wooden standard yellow pencils)
  • One (1) one and one half inch (1 1/2 inch) flexible vinyl 3-ring binder
  • 2 pink erasers (no cap erasers please)
  • Three (3) bottles antibacterial hand sanitizer (Purell)
  • Two (2) black marble composition books
  • Sixteen (16 ) glue sticks
  • 1 hard case container unscented baby wipes for cleaning desks
  • A check for $4.35 made payable to Saratoga Elementary School for Scholastic News
  • Girls - 1 package quart size Ziplock bags

Third Grade

  • One (1) pack of # 2 pencils - no mechanical pencils

  • One (1) large glue stick
  • One (1) pencil sharpener with enclosed dome (for shavings)

  • One zip pocket pencil bag ( no plastic boxes)

Fourth Grade

  • One (1) pair of children's scissors
  • Three (3) packages #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)

  • Four (4) folders ( 1 green, 1 blue, 1 white and 1 red)
  • One (1) 3 subject spiral notebook ( wide ruled)
  • One (1) package wide-ruled loose leaf paper
  • Four (4) glue sticks (large size - 1.27 oz. or larger)
  • One (1) bottle liquid white glue
  • One (1) pocket dictionary/thesaurus
  • One (1) athletic sock - used to erase white boards
  • One (1) box dry erase markers
  • One (1) pencil bag - no boxes please
  • One (1) 8 oz. bottle of antibacterial hand sanitizer
  • Three (3) boxes of tissues
    Please note that the supplies listed are used in each 4th grade classroom.  You may be given an additional list at Back to School Night that is specific for your child’s teacher.

Fifth Grade

  • One (1) package/box #2 pencils to be replaced as needed (NO MECHANICAL PENCILS)
  • Two (2) black or blue ball point pens (no gel pens)
  • Ruler (inch and metric)
  • Large eraser
  • Six (6) glue sticks (to be replaced when depleted)
  • Crayons or colored pencils - no larger than 24 count
  • Markers, varied colors
  • Scissors - pointed
  • Two (2) highlighters (any color)
  • Eight (8) pocket folders/different colors (no patterns) with prongs - NO TRAPPER KEEPERS!
  • One (1) zipperd pencil case - NO PENCIL BOXES
  • Two (2) pkgs. wide-ruled loose leaf paper
  • Three (3) composition books (each a different color, patterns are OK)
  • Three (3) spiral notebooks (one subject thickness and wide ruled)
  • One (1) large protractor
  • One (1) calculator
  • Three (3) large boxes of tissues - brought by girls
  • Two (2) bottles antibacterial hand sanitizer - brought by boys
  • One (1) or Two (2) containers Clorox wipes/cloths (or equivalent)
  • Optional - Large eraser, Electronic spell checker, Pocket dictionary, Pocket Thesaurus

Sixth Grade

  • Three (3) packs loose leaf paper (wide ruled)
  • Nine (9) pocket folders with prongs
  • Eight (8) spiral notebooks
  • One (1) small three ring binder - 1/2 inch recommended - NO TRAPPER KEEPERS
  • Three (3) pens or felt tipped markers (3 different colors)
  • Small box colored pencils or Small box of crayons
  • One (1) highlighter, any color
  • Pointed scissors
  • Ruler, combination metric and standard
  • Two (2) large glue sticks
  • 1 protractor
  • 1 pack of #2 pencils (NO MECHANICAL PENCILS)
  • Large zippered bag to carry supplies (NO PENCIL BOXES AND NO HARD CASED BOXES)
  • Two (2) large boxes of tissues
  • Two (2) bottles of hand sanitizer
    Please purchase only the items on the list. Remember that some supplies will need to be replenished throughout the year.
