Welcome to Saratoga Elementary Library!

We're open to students from 9:00-1:00 on Mondays and 9:00-3:00 on Tuesdays-Fridays. Instruction is given to create a community of responsible learners who read, view, discuss and use information. The media center, as the information and literature center of the school, seeks to provide resources and activities that support the FCPS curriculum and contribute to lifelong learning.

Checkout Policy

Volunteers
We are indebted to our volunteer help, who tirelessly shelve books, check in and check out materials for students and staff, maintain our shelves, work on projects, help at our book fairs, and provide help to our young readers. Last year more than 75,000 items circulated in and out of the library and we are grateful for your help.

You may sign up to display your collection in our library showcase, as long as no one has shown the same collection this year.

Or, You may also sign up to talk about your pet on WSES on Thursdays. Just bring in a picture of your pet.

Our closed circuit TV show that promotes literature is called "Books! Books! Books!" and students may sign up in the library to appear on the show after they have read a favorite book.
