Monday - Friday: 9:15-4:00
Students can arrive to Kiss and Ride between 8:55 and 9:10. Breakfast will run from 8:55-9:10. Students will be dismissed from buses and the cafeteria starting at 9:10. Students are tardy at 9:16. Please click here to open the 2015-2016 school year student calendar.
SIS Parent Accounts
Rolling Valley ES will be providing SIS Parent Accounts to each parent of a student at our school. This will enable access to view your child’s attendance, report card grades, and additional information, establishing another form of communication between home and school.
Each parent will receive a letter in the mail providing a web address, activation key, and directions on registering for your account. You should be looking for this letter to arrive during the first week of February.

As outlined by FCPS Regulation 1367.2, school principals shall offer options to nonprofit organizations that want to make their materials available to students and parents. At Rolling Valley during the 2015-2016 school year, non-profit organizations will be permitted to send home flyers in the take home folder four times during the year. The dates for the 2015-2016 school year are September 18th, December 18th, March 18th, and June 17th. These fliers must be related to the schools’ educational mission and be age-appropriate. Community organizations must submit their materials in advance to the school’s principal and must include the disclaimer “These materials are neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Fairfax County School Board, the Superintendent, or this School”. Once approved, the organization will be required to make the copies necessary for distribution. Any questions can be directed to Maureen Boland, Rolling Valley Principal, at email@example.com.
